Losing a loved one to cancer is an experience that many of us can unfortunately relate to. It is a journey filled with emotions, challenges, and moments that forever change our lives. In the midst of heartache, there are organizations like Ann's Place in Danbury, CT, that aim to provide support, hope, and resources to those affected by this devastating disease.

This week, Love, Patti donated $5000 to Ann's Place. The money came from proceeds from our Inaugural event in August. "Love, Patti" is a non-profit organization with a heartfelt mission to honor a beautiful soul that was taken too soon. The organization is dedicated to hosting family and friendly fun events that help to not only support Ann's Place, Love, Patti also offers two student athlete scholarships in Patti's name, one at the elementary school in the Bronx that Patti attended as a child, St. Theresa School. The other at the elementary school in Bethel, CT that Patti worked as a PE teacher before she passed.
Recognizing the importance of holistic support for young individuals balancing academics, athletics, and personal challenges, the organization aims to provide resources and encouragement to help student athletes thrive both on and off the field.
As we navigate the complexities of life and the challenges of cancer, organizations like Love, Patti remind us of the power of community, compassion, and support. By coming together to uplift and assist those in need, we can make a difference in the lives of individuals and families touched by cancer.
