The Love, Patti Adult Co-Ed Softball Tournament is a fun, community-focused softball event held in conjunction with our annual Love, Patti Family Fun Day. ALL REGISTERED PLAYERS DO NOT NEED TO PURCHASE AN ADDITIONAL FAMILY FUN DAY TICKET

Games will begin prior to the official start of the Family Fun Day, with multiple fields in use throughout the day. The tournament is designed to be fun-first, with a little friendly competition mixed in.

The event is open to co-ed and all-female teams, and spectators are welcome to attend, watch the games, and cheer on their teams. All teams will be invited to participate in a group photo during the event.

Players must be 17 years of age or older to participate.

Players may register individually as free agents or as part of a full team by having a team captain complete the Team Captain Registration Form.

General Tournament Rules & Expectations

Registration & Eligibility

  • Players must be 17+ years old.

  • All players must complete Player Registration and payment to be eligible to participate in the softball tournament and access the Family Fun Day activities. 

  • Players may register:

    • With a team, or

    • As a free agent (teams may be assigned based on availability).

  • Team captains are responsible for ensuring all players on their team are registered and paid by the deadline.

  • Rosters are final after registration closes. No late additions are guaranteed.

Team Composition

  • There is no maximum roster size for teams.

  • Teams must include a minimum of four (4) female players on their roster.

  • During gameplay, a minimum of two (2) female players must be on the field at all times.

  • Teams may be co-ed or all-female.

  • Love, Patti reserves the right to verify rosters and adjust gameplay as needed to ensure fairness and adherence to tournament rules.

  • Failure to meet minimum female player requirements may result in forfeiture or game adjustments at the discretion of Love, Patti.

Gameplay & Format

  • Games will be played on multiple fields throughout the day. 

  • Game length, innings, and format will be determined based on the number of teams registered. 

  • This is a recreational tournament intended to be "competitive" but dun. 

  • NO METAL CLEATS ARE PERMITTED

  • Team captains will be given their team schedule and a full list of tournament rules after registration has closed.

Spectators & Family Fun Day Access

  • Spectators are welcome to attend, watch the softball games, and cheer on participating teams throughout the day.

  • However, access to the Love, Patti Family Fun Day is limited to individuals who have purchased a ticket, either through player registration or a general admission Family Fun Day ticket.

  • Anyone without a valid ticket will not have access to Family Fun Day activities, including but not limited to:

  • Full open bar

  • Hot and cold food offerings

  • Event activities and challenges

  • Designated Family Fun Day areas

  • This policy allows us to properly plan for food, beverages, and activities while ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees.

Code of Conduct

This tournament is rooted in community, respect, and honoring the mission of Love, Patti. All players, captains, spectators, and attendees are expected to contribute to a safe, inclusive, and positive environment.

The following behavior will NOT be tolerated:

  • Aggressive, antagonizing, or confrontational behavior

  • Negative or hostile attitudes toward other players, teams, umpires, volunteers, or event staff

  • Verbal abuse, taunting, or harassment of any kind

  • Physical violence or threats of violence

  • Any behavior that disrupts the safety, enjoyment, or spirit of the event

Love, Patti reserves the absolute right to remove any player, team, or attendee from the Love, Patti event — including the softball tournament, the Family Fun Day, and all event premises — at any time for conduct-related reasons.

👉 Any individual removed for behavior or conduct issues will not receive a refund.
👉 All removal decisions are final and made at the sole discretion of Love, Patti event organizers.

This policy exists to protect the experience of families, children, players, volunteers, and the broader community attending the event.

This tournament is about connection, community, and honoring loved ones. Competitive play is welcome — disrespect is not. We appreciate everyone’s cooperation in helping us create a day that is safe, fun, and meaningful for all involved.
