The “Love, Patti” Fun Day and Softball Tournament brings all of Patti’s loves together: Family, Friends, Fitness and Fun. Our goal is to keep her mission alive with our “Fun-(d)raising” events that will enable us to raise money and donate it to the causes that were foremost to her being.

In 2024, Love, Patti made two scholarships in Patti’s name as well as a generous contribution to Ann’s Place in Danbury.

The Ann’s Place mission is simple, yet profound: To provide comfort and support to people living with cancer and to their loved ones. Their primary goal is to improve the quality of life of those with cancer. First established in 1991, Ann’s Place fills the void between medical care and the psychosocial needs of cancer patients – men, women & children. All services and materials are provided free of charge. Ann’s Place provides professional and compassionate support services to individuals and families whose lives have been affected by cancer.

St. Theresa School is proud to be a Catholic school where children learn to know, love and serve God and celebrate their faith at Mass, Benediction, Confession, daily prayer and sacramental preparation. We emphasize the God-given talents of our students, offering them opportunities to develop these talents academically, socially, athletically, creatively and spiritually. “Christ is the reason for this school, the unseen but ever-present teacher in its classes, the model of its faculty and the inspiration of its students.”

Saint Mary School exists to meet the Christian and academic needs of each child and challenges each student to think critically, evaluate justly, and draw conclusions intelligently. Saint Mary School provides a nurturing environment which develops each child’s potential and enhances an appreciation of faith, family, and community. At Saint Mary School, our responsibility is to mold effective citizens of the world. A strong commitment to peace and social justice, as well as a genuine concern for others, is shared and encouraged in our faith community. “

Patti lost a brief but fierce battle with stomach cancer and was taken way too soon. In the months that followed, her husband and children sought out assistance to help them through this tragic loss. They found “Ann’s Place” in Danbury, CT. Ann’s Place provides comfort, support, and resources to people with cancer and their loved ones. We encourage and support the mission of Ann’s Place.

Patti began teaching PE at St. Mary School in September of 2022 and unfortunately was not able to finish the school year due to her illness. While she was there, she developed a strong bond with the community in her students as well as her co-educators. Patti loved her work with the children, thought very highly of the institution, staff, parish and students and intended to give back to it.

St. Theresa School is Patti’s alma mater. She graduated from the school in 1998 where she was a student athlete. Patti volunteered in the St. Theresa Parish after her graduation as a basketball coach and for their annual feast.
